Lisa S. Smith is the Deputy Chief Planned Giving & Estates Officer at Hadassah, The Women's Zionist Organization of America, Inc. She oversees the estate administration program that generates approximately $25 million annually for Hadassah and its projects. Lisa also promotes legacy giving to Hadassah through marketing initiatives and outreach to potential donors, financial advisors and attorneys.
She is a speaker on topics relating to bequest administration. Lisa previously practiced law in a large law firm and for the federal government. Lisa has also worked in fundraising for nonprofit organizations in the U.S. and Israel. Lisa serves on the executive committee of the Philanthropic Planning Group of Greater New York and is a past president and trustee of her synagogue, where she has been active in fundraising for 20 years.
Lisa is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania and New York University School of Law. Lisa met Dara at a playground in Brighton Beach when they were 4 years old and became lifelong friends.
